If i may suggest, if looks can be a secondary concern over weight/durability, cuben fibre comes in 11g, 15g, 19g, 25g and more weights and is MUCH stronger then mylar and icarex

Hrmm, a true transparent sail you can only make pretty much with pure mylar. However that is going to be rather tear sensitive. Closets would prolly be like 20g mylar if you can can live with the thin white polyester lines inside it.

If you have a sailmaker close by, i would suggest a visit and ask them what they have.

Petit essai de EL Wire (juste passé dans les élastiques, le boitier est scotché au milieu du BA, et un bout de ligne pour attacher le centre en bas).
Ca gigotte un peu mais c'est plutôt marrant. 6 ou 7€ sur eBay, avec un accu liion 14500 à la place des 2 piles AA prévues, et c'est parti !
